Audio-Technica, a leading innovator in transducer technology for over 60 years, announces the launch of two new turntables, the AT-LP70X and AT-LP70XBT.

The AT-LP70X and AT-LP70XBT are fully automatic belt-drive turntables designed for budding vinylphiles. Audio-Technica has drawn on its expertise in phono cartridge design, using the VM95 Series stylus for an upgraded listening experience. The replaceable stylus offers a unique path for those that want to experiment with higher-end stylus shapes. As one upgrades through the various stylus shapes, the listening experience becomes more greatly enhanced.

Both the AT-LP70X and AT-LP70XBT are simple to setup and do not require balancing the tonearm or installing the cartridge. The turntables are equipped with a fixed-body AT-VM95C Integral Dual Moving Magnetâ„¢ phono cartridge with conical stylus, offering excellent channel separation and low distortion for outstanding tonal quality. Additionally, the stylus can also be easily upgraded with any of the other styli (elliptical, elliptical nude, microlinear, or Shibata) in our VM95 Series, offering customization that is normally only possible on a turntable with a detachable headshell and cartridge.

The turntables play both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and, with its built-in switchable phono preamp, can be connected directly to a home stereo, powered speakers, and other components, whether they have a dedicated phono input or not. The J-shaped tonearm is engineered to minimize tracking errors and features a lock to reduce the risk of stylus damage. The three-piece, anti-resonance chassis provides a solid foundation that dampens unwanted noise for improved sound quality. Noise is further reduced by the inclusion of an AC adapter that moves the AC/DC conversion outside of the chassis to limit its impact on the signal chain.

Specific to the AT-LP70XBT is added Bluetooth® wireless technology, giving you the option to listen to your vinyl over Bluetooth-enabled speakers, headphones, or other devices, including those that support the high-quality Qualcomm® aptX™ Adaptive audio codec.

The AT-LP70X and AT-LP70XBT come with a detachable RCA output cable (dual RCA male to dual RCA male with ground), 45 RPM adapter, and removable hinged dust cover. Both models are available in three color schemes: the AT-LP70X in Black/Gray, Black/Bronze, and White/Silver (atus.com exclusive), and the AT-LP70XBT in Black/Silver, Black/Bronze, and White/Silver (atus.com exclusive).Audio-Technica was founded in 1962 with the mission of producing high-quality audio for everyone.
