A-T Turntable Questions

Q: What are the differences between the AT-LP60X and the AT-LP70X Turntables?

The main difference between the AT-LP60X and the new AT-LP70X is the use of the VM95 Series stylus, offering a unique upgrade path for those who want to experiment with higher-end stylus shapes such as the VMN95ML Microlinear stylus. As you upgrade from conical, to elliptical, to Microlinear, and even Shibata, the listening experience can be greatly enhanced.

The AT-LP70X also has a longer, J-shaped tonearm engineered to minimize tracking errors whereas the LP60x has a shorter, straight tonearm. The dimensions of the AT-LP70X are larger and more in line with a typical rectangular format vs the square format of the AT-LP60X, with a more serious 3-piece chassis that dampens resonance for improved sound quality. Q: What is the counterweight of the AT-LP70X Turntable?

The AT-LP70x series does not have a counterweight because it is self-adjusting, with a tracking force of 1.8-2.2g.

Q: What speakers pair best with this turntable?

We would recommend checking out our AT-SP3X powered speaker set for a wired or wireless connection for your turntable! They feature 3” woofers and 1.1” tweeters, specifically tuned by a built-in DSP to produce powerful, well-balanced sound.

Q: Does the AT-LP70X have anti-skate adjustment?

Similar to the AT-LP60X, the AT-LP70X does not have built-in anti-skate.
