These turntables offer all the features you’re looking for in a beginner turntable and are available in both analog and Bluetooth® models. AT-LP70X Features

The AT-LP70X and AT-LP70XBT are fully automatic belt-drive turntables designed for budding vinylphiles. Features include:

• VM95 Series stylus for an upgraded listening experience
• Simple to set up! Balancing the tonearm or installing the cartridge not required
• Play both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records
• Comes with a detachable RCA output cable (dual RCA male to dual RCA male with ground), 45 RPM adapter, and removable hinged dust cover 

What Are the Differences Between the AT-LP70X and the AT-LP60X Turntables?

VM95 Series Stylus

The biggest upgrade is the use of the VM95 Series stylus. This replaceable stylus offers a unique upgrade path for those that want to experiment with higher-end stylus shapes such as the VMN95ML Microlinear stylus. As you upgrade from conical, to elliptical, to Microlinear, and even Shibata, the listening experience can be greatly enhanced.

Keep in mind, the cartridge is still an integrated cartridge with the tonearm but the replaceable stylus is a definite upgrade from the LP60x stylus. To learn more about stylus shapes and the AT-VM95 Series, visit our website!

Turntable Dimensions

The dimensions of the AT-LP70X turntable are larger and more in line with a typical rectangular format vs the square format of the AT-LP60X. It is a much more serious 3-piece chassis that dampens resonance for improved sound quality.

Tonearm

LP70X has a longer, J-shaped tonearm engineered to minimize tracking errors whereas the LP60X has a shorter, straight tonearm.

RCA to RCA Output

LP70X utilizes a true dual RCA to RCA output cables and connectors rather than the basic 3.5mm to dual RCA cable of the LP60x. The LP70X also was upgraded to include a ground lug to help minimize 60Hz hum as the turntable and amplifier (receiver, etc) at the same ground potential.
