How to safely return your AT-LP60X turntable to us

Watch our video on returning the AT-LP60X turntable safely to us

If your Audio-Technica turntable needs to be returned to us, it is important that it is packaged correctly. To ensure its safety during transit use all the original packaging where available, as the turntable may be damaged during shipping if packed incorrectly.

Follow this procedure to safely transport your turntable back to us.

Unplug the unit’s power supply and audio cable.

Remove the slip mat, disconnect the belt from the motor then remove the platter. The belt should remain attached to the underside of the platter.

Remove the 45RPM adaptor.

Fit the stylus guard.

Secure the tonearm in its rest with a wire bag tie to prevent it bouncing out.

Place the protective bag over the dust cover and close it.

Place the whole turntable into the plastic bag.

Place the platter and the slip mat into their protective bag.

Place the turntable and the platter into the designated sections of the moulded white polystyrene.

Put the power supply and the 45RPM adaptor into the accessories box, then place all accessories in the designated recesses in the outer edges of the moulded white polystyrene.

Put the repackaged turntable into the box.

Once everything is packaged correctly, fold down the flaps and seal with tape.

In cases where the original packaging isn’t available, follow this process as closely as possible using packing materials that will protect the turntable to the same standard.
